Tess E. Russell is an associate attorney at Brown & Barron, representing individuals and families against banks, property management companies, and other corporations. In addition to managing all day-to-day aspects of the firm’s lead paint poisoning practice, she works closely with the medical malpractice team.
Prior to attending law school at UCLA, Tess spent years working as a writer in tech startups. Now she advocates for Baltimore’s creative community through Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and lends her writing and editing chops to the Maryland Association of Justice’s Amicus Committee.
In her first two years of practice, Tess was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and a National Trial Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 (Civil Plaintiff category). She is admitted to the state and federal bars of Maryland and the state bar of Pennsylvania.
