Christopher T. Casciano is a trial attorney and Partner at Brown & Barron, LLC, in Baltimore, Maryland, whose practice is dedicated to representing victims of catastrophic injury and their families. He has spent his entire legal career advocating for those harmed by medical malpractice, birth trauma, cerebral palsy, wrongful death, nursing home negligence and abuse, and other life‑altering injuries throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Casciano has secured many millions of dollars in settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of his clients, including a $35 million trial verdict in a plastic surgery malpractice case, an $8.3 million medical negligence verdict in a case involving missed bowel perforation leading to sepsis and death, and a $2.3 million verdict for an intraoperative error during knee replacement surgery that caused permanent leg dysfunction. His results include settlements of $5 million in a premises liability case involving a parking lot assault resulting in traumatic brain injuries, $3.85 million for a delayed cancer diagnosis, and $2.5 million for a delayed blood clot diagnosis leading to leg amputation. In 2025, one of his surgical wrongful death verdicts was recognized among the Top 100 Wrongful Death Verdicts in the United States.

Outside of his law practice, Mr. Casciano is active in the Howard County Youth Program (HCYP), where he coaches baseball and basketball and participates in fundraising and community service activities in support of local youth and families.
Mr. Casciano is a graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston‑Salem, North Carolina, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and biology. He received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served on the Journal of Environmental Law and was the managing editor of the publication.
