E.J. Hammann is a Partner at Brown & Barron. She joins Brown & Barron with almost 20 years in medical-legal practice. E.J. was an integral part of the team that handled a large class action case related to over-stenting patients. She has expertise in cardiac cases, anesthesia complications, birth injuries, missed strokes, and emergency room care. She has also handled a wide range of surgical complication cases from orthopedic to bariatric surgery. E.J. is admitted to practice law throughout the state and federal courts of Maryland and in the District of Columbia. She is currently a member of the Maryland Association for Justice and the Maryland Bar Association.
E.J. earned her law degree from The George Washington University Law School, in the District of Columbia, and was a member of the Environmental Law Journal. E.J. graduated from Colby College located in Waterville, Maine, and has been a nationally certified ski instructor for over 20 years.
